Due to an expanding work load we are currently looking to employ a plumber with experience of carrying out legionella risk assessments. The position is permanent and ideally is for an immediate start.
The successful candidate must have experience in all aspects of the legionella risk assessment process including initial site survey, report writing, control programmes and schematic drawings. The successful candidate will therefore have suitable IT skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
The main aspects of the job will entail:
- Carrying out L8 remedial works to domestic water systems;
- (Experience of industrial systems such as cooling towers is beneficial but not essential);
- Carrying out legionella risk assessments;
- Writing reports;
- Drawing schematic diagrams;
- Carrying out ongoing monitoring checks;
- Tank cleans and disinfection.
The successful candidate MUST be willing to work in a dynamic work force, be willing to travel and have a driving licence. A relevant City & Guild qualification in legionella risk assessment would be an advantage but not essential.
